Cuneiform and the sumerians

This is the Summerians early cuneiforms. This one is simple. The writing is spaced out and larger then the other writings.

This is the sumerians evolved cuneiform. The writing is smaller and fitted tightly on the page. This also looks more elaborate then the other one.

This is the Akkadian Cuneiform. Its very detailed and the cuneiform itself is tiny looking. Looks neater then the other forms of cuneiform.

1. Nomadic civilization- Well, nomadic people are communities of people who move from one place to another,  instead of staying in one place.

2. The Sumerians used a visual form of communication to  keep track of business transactions.

3. Sumerians “wrote” records by wetting the clay, forming it into flat surfaces, an creating a wedge shaped stylus made from reeds to make impressions into the clay surface. Then the clay was put outside in the sun to dry. The medium used was clay.

4.A pictogram is an ideogram that conveys its meaning through its pictorial resemblance to a physical object. An ideograph is a graphic symbol that represents an idea or concept. A pictograph  uses pictures or symbols to represent an amount of data.
